Unless anyone fancies replying to the ad with a convincing line of bullshit, I guess we’ll have to wait until May to see which one runs the ‘computer games turned me into a criminal’ puff piece, so we can drag this one out for another airing.

They have a long, long way to go before they can beat the “greatest” Daily Mail bollocks story about teenagers of all time:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=400953&in_page_id=1770
My Chemical Romance led a chorus of “Fuck the Daily Mail” at one of the festivals in response to that article.
I don’t have any writting talent but surely one of you bloggers can come up with some good bullshit to wind them up with.

The funny thing is, septicisle, I like classic rock, certain metal bands, and old-school blues like Robert Johnson, so I very strongly dislike things like emo. I’m sort of torn as to whose side I’m on between MCR and the Hate Mail. Shame they can’t both lose the battle 😀
I like MCR purely on the grounds of not taking them and their overblown entirety seriously. Treat them as a joke that makes occasionally catchy tunes and they’re fine.
A contemporary band that I do appreciate is Kings Of Leon. I think they’ve got something going on there 🙂
